Notes:This arose because I wanted a vertical hanging American flag. The problem is that if you take a standard flag painting and turn it vertical, the star field ends up on the right. According to flag etiquette, the blue field hangs left when vertical...sooooo...It's actually painted in reverse of what you normally see when horizontal. It is part of a matched framed set to hang along side the Texas flag.
